Moral with more authors some new and some you have seen before.
One year I went another book signing with John Scalzi at the Poison Pen in Scottsdale. Here he went with the famous “top of head” method of showing off Moral.
Later that year, also at the Poison Pen, he got to meet Larry Correia (Monster Hunter Chronicles). As you can see Moral got to be a gun. What does a wombat fire?
Then came a BIG event at the Poison Pen where they brouhgt in a bunch of authors all at once right before Comic Con. Moral got lots of pictures this evening and I got to meet some very nice people.
Beth Cato (Clockwork series) with her stuffed monkey she takes around places.
Diango Wexler and Kevin Hearne were both “ Hey you should take a picture with this guy” pictures. So we did. Kevin is doing a bit of a “my precious” thing that I am not sure Moral is sure about either.
This is Pierce Brown (Red Rising series). He is going for the eating thing again. At this time I had no idea who he was, but I got a free copy of Red Rising and I enjoyed it so much I read the entire series.
Here we have Ryan Dalton and Tom Leveen. I knew neither of them before hand, and they had some fun with Moral. Moral is attcking Ryan and Tom is I think controling Moral? I ended up getting Ryan’s first book “The Year of Lightning” and it was a great book. The entire trilogy was great. His most recent book, “This Last Adventure”, is an amazing YA fiction book as well. You should check all of his books out.
This is Patrick Rothfuss (Name of the Wind), and he went with the stoic shoulder look with Moral.
And yes that is Brandon Sanderson (Do I even need to list any of his series: Mistborn, Oathbringer, finished the Wheel of Time series). Again the classic “top of the head” look.
So, there you have a few more authors. All at the Poison Pen. Good times. I am realizing that there are some authors that I need to get Moral pictures with at some point. I will need to work on that.
