Last night my youngest daughter was in her school musical. She had a small part, but she rocked it!
The whole family went: my oldest kids, my wife, my parents, and my in-laws.
I enjoyed the show. The music teacher at the school and her friend write and compose one every year. My oldest did it when she was at the elementary school, and now “G” does it too. It was a lot of practices after school, and there were days when “G” was past being done at the end on the day. But at the performance she spoke loud and slow and clearly. She was by far the easiest one to hear of all the kinds in the show. Again – she rocked it!
She was pretty nervous going into it, but not for her stuff she was concerned about everything else working out just right. That is who she is. She is so caring and wants everyone to do the best they can. That is one of the things I love most about her. She is always looking out for others.
It was a bit long in my opinion, 1 hour and 15 minutes, on hard school benches, but it was worth it o see her doing something she loves to do.
