Yep it snowed a bunch over night. So school for the girls and I was canceled today. I have had school canceled once before in my life and that a few years ago for extreme rain, of course I was already at school that day when they sent out the “stay home” alerts.
We got emails and texts before 6am here in Idaho to tell us all to stay safe. That was nice.
NOTE – BSU didn’t cancel classes. I am quite glad I didn’t have to teach there today. My guess is that so many students live on or near campus that travel for them is easier. Of course teachers and staff still had to get there.
Out back we got about 5.5 inches of snow:

I told the girls it was mandatory to play in the snow on snow days. I will try and remember to take some pictures of that and get them up in a second post either later today or tomorrow.
Stay Safe
I’m not sure if I should show my kids, because I think they’d be jealous. We haven’t really gotten much snow this winter (like one day of minimal snow). And they like to play in the snow.
But, I’m kind of glad, because I don’t like shoveling snow.
Have fun,
your bro
Sorry about that. It has been a really dry winter here in Idaho as well, until today. At least that is what everyone keeps telling us. I could live here with little issue with the amount of snow we have been getting (on the mountain so it is pretty, but not where I have to drive in it).
