I realized I should add years to these if I am going to keep this up. I can’t just keep saying “Month Music”.
I can’t believe May is already over. It feels like I just wrote about April’s music.

I decided to put up all three options that I have access to this time. You have artist, album, and then track.
You can see all the regulars in the artists that you get to see every month. As you can tell those are the ones I own a lot of their music and I enjoy listening to them. But there are a few new ones there at the bottom of the list: Petra, Jars of Clay, and David Crowder Band. I have mentioned Petra before, and I certainly enjoy listening to them. They are just plan good rock and roll. I was surprised by the other two. I am not a huge fan of either of those bands, and I don’t own much of their music, but I guess it was enough to come up 18 times in the last month. Both bands are fine in my opinion, just not ones I am inclined to pull up on my own.
Moving onto albums we have the Anberlin compilation album with no surprise there since that is the main way I hear Anberlin. You do see in the songs that the top song was the recent version of Paperthin Hymn by Anberlin (featuring Matty Mullins) and that is from the only other Anberlin album I have. I see some new stuff in albums though this month. You get a soundtrack with Spiderman. That is a great soundtrack from Danny Elfman. It really captures the movie well, as all good soundtracks should do. You have the original cast recording of Wicked. I love a good musical, and that one is a good one. Another one that is new is dc Talk’s Jesus Freak album. I remember listening to that ALL the time when I was younger. It was a big album. I find it interesting that between my 2 devices that the song Jesus Freak came up 4 times last month. I never called it out nor repeated it on purpose, but I remember it playing a bunch last month.
For songs that I haven’t mentioned there is One Week by Barenaked Ladies – that is another song I remember listening to a lot when I was younger. It is a fast paced song that is fun to try and sing, even though I have never been able to get all the words in. Also you have Sixpence None the Richer with There She Goes and U2 with With or Without You. Two more songs that I enjoy, and I remember listening to a lot years ago, but haven’t much recently. With or Without You is one of U2’s best songs in my opinion, and so I enjoy hearing it.
I really can’t complain about any of the music this month. Check these artist, albums and songs out. For the most part they are well worth your time.
