Last week was my 22nd wedding anniversary.
WOW – 22 years! It hasn’t all gone as expected. It has been a lot of fun. It has also had times of trouble. That is life and that is marriage. I am blessed to be married to a great and wonderful woman. I love spending time with her. Life is better with her. My life is certainly better overall because of her. I beleive I am a healthier person because of her. I have seen more of the world than I ever expected to because of her. I have two great kids because of her.
We have had our issues over the years and one has been a certain item that we started together before we were married, maybe even before we were engaged, that was never completed. When we were in college we went to a meeting of the Tucson section of the American Association of Physics Teachers. at that meeting (at the late JD Garcia’s house) we made the tubes for a windchime. We did the research, cut the pipe and made sure they were in tune using sound equipment. But all we had were the pipes. Over the years “B” has asked me when I was going to finish the windchime, and I would always say i would soon, and never would. That was super bad on my part and always has been.
Well, I finally did it. I designed the top, middle, and lower part in Fusion and then had it 3D printed at BSU this week. Then I assembled it. Here it is:

It only took 22 years. Now what is funny, ironic, God fated, is that the 22nd anniversary is the copper anniversary. So, I felt an extra need to get it done.
