There has been a number of things going on around the house here in Idaho over the last couple weeks. So, here is an update of what is going on.
I enjoy grilling food. Well, I find it an easy way to make food at least. I have a propane grill that we moved up with us from AZ. A bit after we moved in I noticed that I had a gas outlet on the back patio that was attached to our gas for the house. I realized that I could potentially hook my grill up to this, and no longer have to worry about propane tanks. So, I researched it and found kits online to buy to make the conversion. I bought a kit and I finally got around to installing it recently. It was a pretty easy change over. I had to put in new hoses to hook the grill to the house gas, and I had to change out the brass jets to a larger size. Well, I have used the grill a few times, and I find it gets hotter faster, but it doesn’t stay as it when I turn it down to where I used to turn it down to. I found that interesting. So, I will have to learn the new method of where to set everything to get it just right. Of course the heating issue could also be that it is a lot colder here at night already and so it may just take a lot more work to keep it hot.
The other big thing is that we are finally hanging pictures around the house. I didn’t want to make decisions on where things were going to go without my wife’s opinion so that is why I haven’t done it sooner. But we finally talked and things started going up. It is making the house look a lot more homey.

Here we have a lovely wood sign we just got from a friend (KB), a wooden AZ that we got from the Joiners as a goodbye gift (yes it is askew, the hole in it was offset and I need to fix that still), a scratch off national park and world map (we are still working on the scratching the world), and 2 shadow boxes with jr ranger badges and patches (over 45 at the moment). It is a great wall.

So, a bit closer. We have some family pictures going up as well around the house. Things are coming along. Things are good.
