Here is the last part, currently, in the Moral meeting Authors series.
Here is the next installment of Moral with different (ok, and some of the same) authors.
Here we have Mary Robinette Kowal (The Lady Astronaut series). In this picture she is typing out an original story (1 page) that she wrote for me based on 3 random cards I gave her from a stack she had. I have it hanging in my house.
Another year at comic con we went and say Beth Cato again (I got to eat some of her tasty cookies. Her bready-or-not website is a must for bakers).
And finally, one last year at Phoenix Comic Con Fest Fusion (whatever it was called that year).
Another John Scalzi again “Top of the head” style.
Above is Anne Wheaton (Wil Wheaton’s (from Star Trek) wife). As you can see she wrote a kids book called “Piggy and Pug” I got it for my kids.
Next we Peter Clines (14 (and subsequent books), Ex-Heroes series). I think he is trying to figure out how Moral got there on his table in the first place with those little legs of his.
Finally, we have Peter David doing the shoulder thing. Peter wrote my favorite Star Trek books when I was reading them in Junior High and High School: Imzadi, Vendetta, I Q, Q-Squared, and more.
So, lots of authors. It has been fun. I plan to keep doing this as I get to return to things like Fan Fusion or other author meetings at bookstores. And having Moral along for the ride has been a blast as well. It adds some fun to the time, and allows for stories to be told with the authors, and afterwards with the pictures.
Yo,
Just wanted to let you know, that Peter David is also really well known in comic books. He’s written a ton, mostly stuff that gets critically acclaimed but not always really well known or popular. He wrote a famous story for The Hulk. He was also the writer on X-Factor for a long time (or two long runs, actually). Interesting that you got to meet him.
High-Five,
Your Bro
That is cool. I didn’t realize that.
