We got the car out. After about an hour of work I got the car out. I had to do a bunch of digging out under the car and under the tires. I also had to use a screwdriver to knock ice out from under the tired (somewhat), and then I stuck boards under tires to create more friction and then Beverly pushed as well and the car got out. Here is the proof.
And last night as we were getting ready for bed I noticed one of our motion lights turned on, so I looked outside and saw a large furry thing moving away from the cabin along the walking path we had made to get to the cabin. It was moving toward the car, and I thought, “I don’t want that in the car.” I had one girl grab the car keys and beep the car and it turned around and started “running” toward the cabin. It ran straight to the stairs and then disappeared. “G” said, “It went under the stairs.” And sure enough it seemed to have run under our deck. We got a picture and it was a RACCOON! I am naming it Rocky the Raccoon. Here is a picture through our window.
Fun times!
