I was going to post today about my car, but I didn’t have enough oil to fill it up, and something more important happened today anyways.
My girls got baptized at church this morning.
For those of you that don’t know that means they made a public confession of THEIR faith (not their parent’s faith) in Jesus as their savior in front of the church. It is a pretty big thing for a person that believes in Jesus as their savior. It doesn’t do anything special other than make a statement, but it is special nonetheless.
At the church we go to they don’t dunk (full emersion) like I am used to. They do the “sprinkle” method. Usually the do it for babies when their parents bring them to church, but our kids didn’t do that so they got to enjoy that experience now. You can see in the pictures that the pastor hit them with plenty of water and “G” certainly wasn’t expecting as much water as she got.
I have added baptism to my list of things I think I will write more about in the future. So nothing Earth shattering in this posting today. Also I am a bit tired from two long days of yard, house and car work this weekend.
Hey,
Great to see and hear. Praise the Lord!
We’re so happy for you and the girls.
High-Five,
your Bro
Very exited for the girls. Congratulations!
